My brain is crawling with ideas and I am coming up with schematics and charts for hats faster than I can knit the prototypes to share them with you. You can now test knit one of the patterns I have written. The hats I have available are listed below and will change as I develope new patterns and recieve completed pictures of hats. The first picture of a hat sent to me will be the one at the top of the page, all others will go into a slide show at the bottom. A thumbnail is included of the chart used for the hat so you aren't knitting on blind faith. Thanks so much!

Hi there
I've always made scarves, but now i'm trying to get into other things, so I'm thinking about hats! I was wondering, though, when knitting a hat in the round, does the length of the circular needle matter? 16"? 29"? if you could answer this question, that would be great!!! You can email me at codys_wifey@hotmail.com :) Look forward to hearing from you!!!
Hi Kody,
I check your site almost daily. luv it. I used to check it daily but i'm frustrated now because almost all of your patterns are knit in the round. i can knit in the round just as i can knit cables but i don't want to. is it possible to convert to flat?
So many people wrote in saying they hate seams that I got frustrated and started doing many patterns in the round. The last pattern sleepless nights hat and the one I am working on now are knit flat. I will make sure that my test knit patterns come in both from now on. I think most of the colorwork hats with a picture on the middle front are easier to knit flat anyways because you don't have to carry the yarn all the way around.
I love viewing your site. Your patterns are so beautiful. I cant do most of them because I am new to knitting. My daughter joined a school club and I though I am an accomplished crocheter I went too. I don't know how to knit in the round yet but I will learn so I can try some of your patterns for my mother and daughters. Everything I make is for them. You are truly an artist. I hope things go well for you and your family at this trying time. God speed. sixhiukkas8@yahoo.com from Fairbanks Alaska
Okay- I also luv yr blog- and i will be happy to test knit your things. If you can put the patterns on the internets, I will knit them up (if i got the stuff) and will send pix.
l just love your hats !!!. You are soooo talented.
I feel your pain with the ideas coming faster than the finished projects, but I'll help out if I've got the time!
Kody, I love your patterns sooooooooo much. I was looking for hat patterns knit with SWS, and you have so many. I have knit most of them. Currently working on the Fall Frolicking in SWS natural Garden. I had a problem with the pattern. It didn't curl the way your picture did. I modified the pattern so rows 9-16 are *K2,P2,K2,P2,K2,P6* rep 5 times. This came out the way your picture did. Wish I had a digi cam, I would send u a picture of the one I'm working on, but no such thing yet.
hi kody i have just found your site and have looked at some of your patterns, i would love to test out some for you as i asm knitting a blanket out of squares for my son and am running out of ideas for what to put in it, any ideas welcome
